Ray Elkins – Managing DirectorRay Elkins – Managing Director
Ray started working in the family business as an Apprentice Roofer in the 1970s and took over as Managing Director in 1988 when his father retired. He has seen Elkins through its journey from a local roofing business to the multi-million-pound construction company it is today. Ray has overall responsibility for the contract and business operations and is still heavily involved in the day-to-day management of the business, ensuring it continues to uphold the ethical family values it was built upon.Ricky Smith – Associate DirectorRicky Smith – Associate Director
Ricky began his career with Elkins initially as a Roofing Apprentice, before progressing to Site Manager, Operations Manager, Roofing Contracts Manager and now Associate Director. Ricky is responsible for overseeing and directing Elkins’ roofing projects from conception to completion. He has delivered many large-scale roofing projects, and continues to drive business performance, focusing on the client’s requirements, quality and time management.Jamie Watkins – Operations ManagerJamie Watkins – Operations Manager
Jamie has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. He originally joined the company in 2015 as a Senior Contracts Manager, before heading to sunnier shores in Australia for three years. Upon his return to the UK, he rejoined the business as Senior Construction Manager and is now Operations Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations across all departments and ensuring the successful delivery of projects in multiple sectors. Over the last few years, he has taken the lead on Elkins’ re-brand and marketing approach, to give the business a more modern look and feel, whilst maintaining its traditional values.Billy Mould – Lead Senior Contracts Manager (New Build)Billy Mould – Lead Senior Contracts Manager (New Build)
Billy joined Elkins in 2019 bringing his expertise to assist the business in our journey to becoming a New Build provider. He is responsible for and manages our Modular Build contracts, overseeing a team of contracts managers, site managers, design managers and our dedicated supply chain partners. His positive and supportive approach assists the management teams in fulfilling their duties and ensuring safe delivery of our contracted works.Michael Bailey – Senior Contracts Manager (Refurbishment)Michael Bailey – Senior Contracts Manager (Refurbishment)
Michael came to Elkins with extensive experience of running multiple high-value contracts, having worked as a Senior Site Manager for 13 years delivering the Decent Homes Scheme, school extensions and new build projects for local councils. Since joining the business he has built and managed a strong team of Site Managers and is responsible for Elkins’ partnering and framework packages, comprising all types of internal and external works.Trevor McLellan, Senior Contracts Manager (New Build)Trevor McLellan, Senior Contracts Manager (New Build)
As Elkins’ Senior Contracts Manager, Trevor oversees a team of Site Managers and is responsible for multiple projects, from conception to completion. He has worked in the construction industry for over 40 years and has an impressive track record of running high value commercial and residential contracts. In his current role, Trevor manages our partnering and framework packages, comprising all elements of internal and external works.Guy Ellis – Repairs and Maintenance Contracts ManagerGuy Ellis – Repairs and Maintenance Contracts Manager
Guy joined Elkins in 2014 with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, having worked across both public and private sectors for housing associations and commercial service providers. Since joining the business, he has driven the success of the Repairs and Maintenance department, securing a number of new clients, and expanding his team of operatives, so we are able to deliver a wider range of maintenance services.Giovanni Agnelli – Design ManagerGiovanni Agnelli – Design Manager
Giovanni has a background in architecture and over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry. He joined Elkins in 2022 as Design Manager, working on our new build modular homes construction projects. His role involves supporting our contract managers, site managers and the commercial team with any design-related matters. His positive and pro-active approach helps ensure the design consultants have access to accurate and timely information to carry out their roles.Ion Virlan – HSEQ ManagerIon Virlan – HSEQ Manager
Ion joined Elkins Construction in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from nearly 20 years in the industry. He began his career as a Passive Fire Protection Installer, before moving into site supervision and then health and safety, first as an H&S Advisor and then an HSEQ Manager. Ion’s positive and supportive approach is helping our management teams meet their requirements and ensure a safe working environment. He has already embedded his way of working into the business culture to ensure we continue to achieve the highest HSEQ standards.Ayesha Wright – Social Value ManagerAyesha Wright – Social Value Manager
Ayesha joined Elkins an Apprentice Resident Liaison Officer in 2012 and has worked across various departments within the business. Her extensive knowledge of the company and its values and commitments has led to her current role as Social Value Manager. She has formed strong relationships with partners, education providers, local organisations and charities and is responsible for overseeing, implementing, driving and actioning Elkins Construction’s commitment to social value.Sarah Silburn – HR ManagerSarah Silburn – HR Manager
Sarah joined Elkins in 2016 and has introduced a very structured approach to her HR function. She is a confident HR manager with a proven track record of change management in manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments over the past 15 years. She is driven to deliver business progression and has contributed to Elkins’ continuous development.Nadine McCourt – Customer Service ManagerNadine McCourt – Customer Service Manager
Nadine has over 15 years’ experience working in customer service in the construction industry. She joined the business in 2013 as Lead Resident Liaison Officer, and now manages our team of RLOs. Her other duties include closely monitoring customer and client feedback and using this to implement change where necessary. Nadine’s positive and supportive approach to management ensures her team are well-equipped to meet the high standards expected of them.
