As part of our ongoing project at Kingswood Estate for Southwark Council we have been pleased to get involved with a number of fantastic initiatives to benefit the residents and surrounding community this year. We were therefore delighted to round off 2021 by lending a helping hand at the estate’s Over 60s Christmas Party on Thursday 16th December.
The event was organised by the Kingswood Estate Tenants and Residents Association and was attended by our Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Ayesha Wright and our Resident Liasion Officer on the project, Daisy Palmer. We were also pleased to donate £250.00 towards the event, which included a luxurious three-course Christmas dinner and beautifully packaged hampers containing essential items for every guest.
There was a fantastic turnout, with many Kingswood Estate residents and other locals in attendance to enjoy the food and entertainment. Throughout the afternoon music was provided from a number of performers, including one of Kingswood’s very own talented residents and a local opera singer.
Congratulations to Lara Daniel, Chair of Kingswood Estate TRA, and the other staff and volunteers who helped make the day a great success, we were glad to play a part in it and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the festivities.
